Donorinfo is an independent public utility foundation that provides accurate and impartial information for anyone with a desire to help charities in any way.

Its aim is to publish this information with the utmost transparency, allowing the donor to make a personal selection from a variety of close to 220 charities helping people in need. As such, Donorinfo would like to contribute to an increase in the total amount of donations to charities.

Donorinfo.be as a pioneering tool

Donorinfo.be provides a free database containing comprehensive general and financial information per charity. All published financial information originates from annual accounts of the preceding financial year that have been audited by a company auditor or by a chartered accountant.

Any charity, regardless of its size, which is located in Belgium and provides help to people in need anywhere in the world, is entitled to be included on donorinfo.be.

How does it work?

You can use our database to look for a particular charity by consulting the list in alphabetical order or conducting a search using keys such as theme, needs, geographic area,…

Every charity has its own information file, consisting of two pages:

• The first page features more general and practical content, such as address and telephone number, objectives,…
• The second page features information on what the financial means are and how they were spent. It also mentions the company audit concerning the preceding financial year.
