I know or support a philanthropic organisation which is not featured on donorinfo.be – why?

Any philanthropic organisation can submit a request for publication to the Donorinfo Foundation, as long as they fulfill all of our publication criteria:

• that its principal objective is to help people in need;

• that it is established in Belgium and has a business registration number;

• that it appeals specifically for private donations (from individuals and/or businesses).

In the spirit of complete transparency, these organisations must equally be able to submit their full annual accounts. In concrete terms, this means that each year, the organisation must provide to Donorinfo:

• detailed annual accounts;

• a copy of the audit report of these accounts, produced by a mutually agreed independent body;

• the keeping of its publication agreement drawn-up by the team at Donorinfo.

It could be the case that the organisation which you have in mind does meet all of our publication criteria, but that it has not yet submitted a publication request. In this case, please do not hesitate to direct them to us. We are contactable on info@donorinfo.be.

All organizations remain free to decide whether or not they wish to be featured on donorinfo.be, and can, simply by asking, be removed from our website.

The Donorinfo Foundation can equally decide to suspend the publication of information on a certain organisation. This might occur if it does not provide its detailed and up-to-date annual accounts or if it does not send an auditor's report of its accounts.
